Chi Nei Tsang is an ancient abdominal healing massage developed in China by Taoist monks and nuns to enhance health, detoxify the body organism, and upgrade the energy or Chi quality with the further aim of being able to better practice the higher levels of meditation and to so achieve enlightenment.  It was used in the Royal Courts as well as Temples, as was any good healing knowledge.

Of course the Chinese Cultural Revolution destroyed many Taoists and their Temples however fortunately some Taoists did escape with the secrets and others managed to maintain underground knowledge to preserve so many fascinating ‘secrets’. Having the ‘whole’ picture was not easy until grandmasters learnt to focus on passing on their techniques and encouraging their heirs to teach them around the world, where they could then meet other Taoists and fill in the missing pieces.

Mantak Chia is one such’ heir’ who was chosen and taught Taoist techniques by a few Grandmasters and asked to spread the message across the world, which he has done   He started Chi Nei Tsang revival in the late 1980s when teaching in America, and doing teaching tours in Europe; he eventually returned to his native Thailand to set up his healing spa and Taoist teaching center “Tao Garden”.  Chi Nei Tsang and Inner Alchemy practices have since had growing numbers of adepts, once the results of these powerful techniques became apparent.

CNT 1 is about internal organ massage and is the entrance level to this powerful practice, and is itself already a very efficient body treatment.  It works by de-toxing the organs and their surrounding fascia to increase their functionality and balancing the body by re-opening energy pathways.

You will learn hand, finger and elbow techniques for massaging, and you will also be able to work on your own abdomen to feel the efficiency of the results and monitor your health.

Mantak Chia has now incorporated ‘Life Pulse’ from beginners’ CNT to advanced practices, as the pulse is the base of all body functions. Chi Nei Tsang includes balancing the most important pulses at the beginning of a session as this increases and balances the blood flow in the body, as well as the lymph and other body fluid systems.  Blood and Chi flow together through our entire  body, regulating our vital health and ill-health will start when blockages of one or either occur regularly.
